Last summer, all of our friends and I got hooked on a Netflix cable show about a lady that was raising immense cats, and at the time, I did not know that the show’s main antagonist was a nonprofit rescue organization in our hometown of Tampa, then when I found out about the Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, I decided to visit one day, and i did not meet with the owner and founder, although I did get the chance to speak with a veterinarian at the site, and the woman was truly nice and she was knowledgeable on every single one of the immense cats in the enclosure. The Tampa section rescue has hundreds of visitors every day and multiple of them make charitable donations to help the organization. I did not know much about that Tampa Bay Area rescue until I watched that documentary. To be honest, it was informative. I did not know much about immense cats until I watched the program, now I am harshly interested in everything about their lives. I agreed to donate some time to the Big Cat Rescue during the next summer. They have a tough time finding assistance and volunteers when the un-even temperatures are harshly overheated and humid. There is no AC or plumbing somewhere at the rescue and sanctuary. I agreed to help out a few times every month in exchange for the occasion to meet the pets and see how they live. It will be an educational and up close studying experience and it should help me prepare for a career as a vet tech.
