Summer is right around the corner, as well as I can feel the weather getting warmer as we inch closer, but the beauty about the Summer is that we have so several outdoor events happening in our town; Lansing is a small suburb right outside of Chicago, as well as though we are a smaller town, we have plenty to keep us entertained. In fact, several people from the city drive over to Lansing for some of our yearly festivals as well as events. The festivals as well as events are mostly held at Fox Pointe, which is an entertainment center in the heart of downtown. It opened about 4 years ago, as well as we were all excited about this new venue because it brought a new venue for the family to spend time outdoors. And because we have such amazing weather here, we never worry about being too hot while at these events. The venue is outdoors, so there is no a/c available. And in the colder months, there is no heat available either. Thankfully, most of the events are held in the warmer months, when it is nice enough to be outside. The two of us only have 1 or multiple events in the colder months, as well as I must say that, 1 year, I was cold for 1 of them! Whenever I needed to moderate up, I kept going into the restroom where there was some heat available. I am just ecstatic that I don’t need to be outside a lot during the colder months, as well as thankfully, I have a wonderful gas furnace that keeps our home moderate as well as comfortable.
