Whenever I needed to warm up, I kept going into the restroom where there was some heat available
Summer is right around the corner, and I can feel the weather getting warmer as we inch closer. The beauty about the Summer is that we have so many outdoor events happening in my town. Lansing is a small suburb right outside of Chicago, and though we are a smaller town, we have plenty to keep us entertained. In fact, many people from the city drive over to Lansing for some of our yearly festivals and events. The festivals and events are mostly held at Fox Pointe, which is an entertainment center in the heart of downtown. It opened about 4 years ago, and we were all excited about this new venue because it brought a new place for the family to spend time outdoors. And because we have such amazing weather here, we never worry about being too hot while at these events. The venue is outdoors, so there is no air conditioning available. And in the colder months, there is no heat available either. Thankfully, most of the events are held in the warmer months, when it is nice enough to be outside. We only have one or two events in the colder months, and I must say that, one year, I was freezing for one of them. Whenever I needed to warm up, I kept going into the restroom where there was some heat available. I am just happy that I don’t need to be outside a lot during the colder months, and thankfully, I have a great furnace that keeps my home warm and comfortable.
