We went to visit Eugene, Oregon last year and I haven’t been able to forget about it since we got back.
I wasn’t really sure what to expect when we first arrived in Eugene, but as we learned our way around the city, we found that it was exactly the kind of place that we love to go and visit.
Eugene, Oregon is a great city both for the arts and for lovers of the outdoors. I love both the arts and the outdoors, so it was basically like a beacon for me! I thought that Eugene was fantastic. I was able to shop from many local artisans and I found all kinds of wonderful artwork pieces and jewelry designs. Not only that, but I also visited several different museums and ate at many wonderful restaurants. I love the restaurants there in Eugene, and my husband liked the craft breweries that we visited. I just really felt like Eugene had something for everyone, especially for people like us. After we visited the restaurants and the breweries, we decided to take a little bit of a healthier track and we went biking and kayaking. There are many scenic bike trails around Eugene and the rivers are great for kayaking. One of the other things that I liked about it is the fact that there are several really great legal recreational cannabis dispensaries in Eugene. Once you are done with the museums, arts and crafts scene, and nature walks, you can head to a local dispensary to find your favorite edible to relax with.
