AC quits in the dead center of the night

I recently spent a wonderful, week-long getaway in Cocoa, FL; It’s a wonderful beach neighborhood just south of the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. I chose the area because of the wonderful beaches plus fun water activities. I’d constantly wanted to learn to surf plus take a fishing charter. I signed up for a kayak tour, swam in the ocean plus spent a lot of time wonderful in the sun… One of my preferred spots to explore was the Cocoa Beach Pier. It stretches for 730 feet over the Atlantic Ocean plus provides an especially amazing view of the entire city, and there are lots of legitimately interesting shops, boutiques plus eating establishments. I especially loved sampling fresh seafood. The fish sandwiches were actually amazing. One of the only disadvantages of my trip was the air conditioner in the room I rented! Rather than stay at one of the super extravagant resorts, I booked a room at a smaller hotel within walking distance to the beach, then because I didn’t pay a lot, I wasn’t expecting several-star amenities. I was good with a lumpy pillow, scratchy sheets plus a thin blanket. The lack of water pressure in the shower didn’t bother me. I didn’t care that the carpet smelled musty or that the pipes made different sounds in the middle of the night. I was a little worried that the cooling system appeared ancient. It was missing some of the adjustment knobs plus a bit rusty. It also dripped water onto the floor plus rattled every time it started up. I was ecstatic as long as it was supplying cool air, however when the AC quit in the middle of my third night, I complained. The room instantly became unbearably tepid plus sticky.
