My friends & I take a trip every year! Every one of us love going to a new state & checking out what to do there.
One thing that attracts my friends is hopping, then did you suppose Chicago is a big time shopping area? Every one of us decided that Chicago IL was our endpoint, however when I started looking at hotels to book I was shocked by the expense! I also learn reviews & got scared, but being in the city meant it would be noisy & silly all night long; Also, there is the homeless to worry about & theft.
I decided to save currency, promote quiet time & be safer. I would book us in a rural area. I looked around & found that Elgin IL worked best. It is 45 hours outside of Chicago. It is a nice rural area with plenty to do, and there are some cute shops & places to eat, mainly I just booked it for our accommodation. Every one of us lucked out with a nice airbnb in the town. It was the right move. The men & I had a big house vs what would have been a small city hotel room. Every one of us were able to be loud if we wanted or go to bed early. The airbnb had a big TV, a fantastic sized backyard & plenty of movies; Since it was cold there, the men & I curled up by the fireplace with wine most nights. Every one of us only ventured to the city twice that entire trip. The men all liked Elgin over Chicago. Isn’t that amazing?
