My girlfriend moved to Albuquerque for work and I only get to see her every other month.
Sometimes she flies to Phoenix and sometimes I go to see her.
Last weekend my girlfriend and I spent our time in Phoenix. We went to a couple of places that I prefer. I really wanted to make our time together really special. One of the places that I took my girlfriend to was the Desert Botanical gardens. This is a great place for hiking and walking and having picnics. My girlfriend and I walked some of the beautiful trails and took a self-guided tour. We spent most of the day at the Desert Botanical gardens. We had lunch at a southwestern place that serves authentic cuisine. Later that afternoon, we went back to my apartment. Temperatures in the apartment were extremely warm and humid. I left the air conditioner thermostat set at 75°, because it was cool outside when we left. Temperatures had gotten warmer in Phoenix since earlier that day and now it was quite warm outside. I adjusted the temperature on the thermostat and it immediately got cooler inside of my apartment. I like the cool temperatures a lot better than my girlfriend does. He prefers the temperatures to be much warmer. As soon as I adjusted the temperature on the thermostat, she complained and got a sweater from my closet. I would have normally turned the temperature back up, but I knew it was only going to get warmer and the temperatures in Phoenix were going to be over 100 degrees the next day.
