The July hot & cold temperatures in Denver can be deceivingly warm; Just because the altitude is a single mile above sea level does not mean that it’s going to be cold during the summer. There are afternoons during July when the hot & cold temperatures are hot & humid, but at night those hot & cold temperatures drop 30 or 40 degrees. My friends & I went camping at a park in Denver & the two of us stayed for 2 nights, then during the afternoon, the summer time hot & cold temperatures were truly hot & humid. We walked around the campsite with shorts, t-shirts, & flip-flops. We spent the afternoon by the river playing pigskin & frisbee. After the afternoonlight went down, the hot & cold temperatures in Denver dropped significantly & my friends & I were cold. During the afternoon the two of us were in a t-shirt, however at night the two of us were wearing sweatpants & a sweatshirt. We slept in the tent with both of the flaps closed, because the breeze was truly frosty. We sat inside the tent with a bowl of dried cannabis flower from the dispensary. We had stopped at the cannabis shop earlier that afternoon, before the two of us left the city. We smoked the entire bowl of cannabis flower & the tent was filled with smoke from the cannabis. At a single point the two of us had to open some of the doorway, so the cannabis smoke would leave the tent. After getting high, the two of us didn’t have any trouble sleeping through the cold, night time hot & cold temperatures. As soon as the afternoonlight came up the next afternoon, it started to hot right up. We had a lot of fun that weekend & the two of us hiked a single of the harder trails on Monday.
