Albuquerque used to be my favorite city, but now?

Albuquerque used to be my favorite city in all of New Mexico.

It was situated at the base of a mountain and when you headed west you got into the desert.

You could see the volcanoes in the distance, which makes Albuquerque beautiful to visit. I moved to Albuqueerque about fifteen years earlier, and I never wanted to live anywhere else. I told my friends that Albuquerque was my favorite city, but now I’m not so sure. We still have the family oriented things happening throughout the year, but we no longer have the whole family vibe. I understand the importance of having legal medical marijuana. It truly is a miracle drug for many different ailments. What I can’t understand is the necessity to make recreational marijuans legal in Albuquerque. They are released prisoners who are in prison on marijuana charges. They have been in close contact with hoods, and who’s to say they haven’t tried harder drugs while in prison. Maybe they got in with some really rough groups of people. I just have all these thoughts rumbling around in my head and I’m not sure what I want to do. I considered moving out of Albuquerque, but nearly every other state is beginning to legalize medical and recreational marijuana. It just doesn’t give me a good feeling deep inside. In the meantime, I’ll be going to visit all the great sightseeing sites they have in Albuquerque. My kids want to go to the Petroglyphs monument, I wouldn’t mind going on the Sandia Mountain tram ride, and there’s no way any of us would miss the Balloon Fiesta.
