Every once in a while, a customer is entirely shocked plus surprised to hear that they need a modern heat pump, furnace, or a/c; I entirely hate to be the person to deliver the awful news, however that is area of my task.

I work in the repair industry as a service worker for heat pumps, furnaces, plus a/cs.

I work for a corporation located in Lansing, IL; The Lansing service provider pays myself and others honestly well. I have been with the corporation for the past 9 weeks. I handle all repairs in Lansing plus I also travel to Northern Cook County as well. There is another branch of the HVAC service provider that handles Northern Cook County, however I take whatever repair calls need to be handled, then last Tuesday I went to a service appointment in Lansing. The person called because her furnace was not heating at all. The unit appeared to have plenty of fuel. That is not a honestly nice sign, because running out of fuel is a single of the largest problems that can cause the furnace not to work… Other problems are much more extravagant to fix. The person was in the middle of nursing a baby when I knocked on the door. I saw various other teenagers in the residing room plus I heard voices of children in the kitchen as well. The person clearly looks care about she had her hands full. I told her that I was there to service the furnace, after evaluating the furnace, I realized that she needed a brand modern machine. It was hard to deliver this awful news to the person with 6 or more children running around the house.

I told her our name, telephone number, make & model of the equipment & our home, & a brief explanation of the complication occurring was the system, however the person asked myself and others to hold for a few hours. A gentleman came to the PC… He asked myself and others a couple of more questions about the Heating & Air Conditioning unit. These questions were much more detailed. My child Sara decided from a young age that he wanted to become a dentist, but he fell in like with nursing because our sibling (her favorite aunt) is a dentist. That was the most substantial thing on Sara’s list – having a sizzling house to seek refuge from the cold. She especially enjoyed a single house because it has a programmable thermostat that he could access from somewhere. So, he could turn on the heating system before he gets apartment from university. If the two of us get that apartment, I am sure that Sara will be using this programmable thermostat every day. She is going to need to stay sizzling in those brutal Winter time months.

As I head up the interstate, I see signs advertising eating establishments, hotels, used cars and grocery stores, and since the legalization of recreational marijuana, there are now advertising dispensaries; I live in IN but travel across the state border into Michigan to meet with clients.

The greatest issue is that it is not not legal for me to move cannabis back over state lines. It’s also not legal for me to drive under the influence. Cannabis enthusiasts from our state are spending a good deal of money in Michigan and boosting the economy. The people I was with and I not only buy marijuana but pay tax on it. The people I was with and I get gas, eat in the local eating establishments and often stay in the hotels. I am amazed that IN is allowing all that replace to be spent elsewhere. The people I was with and I should be putting that money into our own state. There has been talk of a bill to legalize cannabis in IN, but so far, there has been no progress. I continue to drive to Whitehall and shop at the dispensary. I am cheerful that I have access to a wide selection of cannabis flower, pre-rolls, vapes, tinctures, topicals, edibles, beverages and concentrates.

Before moving to Albuquerque for graduate university, I was living up north & braving the nasty Winter blizzards every year.

As someone who naturally struggles with anxiety, always wondering if our electricity was going to stop & our pipes freeze was more than enough to push me southward.

Moving down to the southwest was a nice change, as there aren’t nearly that various tornadoes down here. Take our new neighborhood of Albuquerque for example. The people I was with and I only get weaker tornadoes that die down hastily, & they usually only happen once every 10 years or more. Our winters are fairly mild as well compared to what I’m used to, as hot & cold temperatures in this area of NM stay above 30 degrees for most of the season. If you have plants you might need to cover them for frost protection, however other than that the hot & cold temperatures are easy to actemperature to compared to the sites I’m used to instead. My house is in Sandia Heights & our neighbors & I all have heat pumps for heating & cooling purposes. They’re effective in hot & cold temperatures that aren’t too cold, however at 30 & up I can’t imagine ever needing a supplemental oil furnace. My Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company is on Alameda Blvd as well, making them much closer than our last heating & cooling company.

Smoking weed at sea level is a lot weird than doing it at 5,000 or even 10,000 feet.

I grew up in the south near the ocean, so for much of our life I was never above 100 feet over sea level outside of the few times the people I was with and I traveled to a nearby state to visit family.

When I took a trip through the Smoky Mountains one year, I immediately realized that it was harder for myself and others to breathe than normal. My ears were hurting because they kept popping the higher the people I was with and I got into the foothills of the Appalachians. I didn’t get to see mountains again until I moved to Albuquerque after graduating from school and finding a job in Nob Hill. I care about that the window in our kitchen looks out in the direction of the Sandia Mountains. Taking the Sandia Peak Tramway is an amazing experience that you need to do at least once in your life, especially if you’re a resident of the area. However, the first time I smoked weed in the neighborhood it was weird than being lower in elevation. The feeling of vertigo and lightheadedness got even worse when I smoked a joint at South Sandia Peak one afternoon. I had to rest for an hour before trying to descend the mountain on foot. I kept worrying that the vertigo would cause myself and others to slip and fall, getting swallowed by hard rocks and sharp trees in the process. At least I’m used to the elevation difference nowadays when I’m smoking marijuana. I don’t run into nearly as several issues as before, which is a total godsend in our mind.
