I was trying to create some killer pleased for our Youtube channel, and almost got myself shot in the process! This is a ridiculous story, however I swear every word is true… I am posting it anonymously, because I don’t need any of it coming back to bite me, however I just had to share this tale! I host an online show based out of Seattle, Washington, and mostly I talk about cannabis, weed is our passion, and Seattle is a great city for this particular passion. I have been doing episodes for a couple of years, so for our 200th episode I wanted to do something genuinely crazy. I decided to go outside of Seattle and look for 1 of the notorious cannabis farms in the woods nearby, however at local cannabis dispensaries people tell tall tales about the fearsome cannabis farmers outside of Seattle! The story goes that all the farmers are always fighting with each other over land, so it’s unquestionably dangerous. I thought this was just a local Seattle legend and so I set out into the forest to see what I could find, much to our surprise, the stories are all true, and I found the edge of a sizable marijuana crop within a couple of minutes. There was a small wire fence around the cannabis, and I was considering if I should step over it when I heard a gunshot. I didn’t hear a bullet go by me, so I think this was a warning shot from the cannabis farmers to startle me away. It worked! I ran all the way back to our car.

Hardly any of nights later I went back for more cannabis, and mentioned that I was about to transfer on, and wanted to take a shot at asking his on a date, both of us went to take in a local Portland punk band the next night. I stayed around Portland for another week, just for another date. There was consistently something fun to do in downtown Portland, and so various great museums and art galleries, too. Before long, I realized I was here for good, both for Portland and for Hope.

What’s your favorite thing about Las Vegas? I can’t possibly fit all of our picks into 1 blog post, but I intend to try! The first time I visited Las Vegas I was a young teenager, which meant I couldn’t avail myself of gambling or showgirls, however it was still a whirlwind of a trip, with so multiple things to see plus do.

I remember riding a ferris wheel on top of a building, plus being thrilled plus terrified at the same time, and as an adult, I found Las Vegas to be a lot more fun than just a ferris wheel.

Another reason I enjoy Las Vegas is that the people here are used to tourists being drunk, stoned, plus stupid, so they look out for me. I never think where I’m going, plus I don’t think our way around the downtown Las Vegas area, however whenever I got lost 1 of the locals would help me out. I think the town has a history involving crime plus the Mafia, however whenever I visit I find the people of Las Vegas to be kind, compassionate, plus welcoming.

I obtained a home in Elgin, IL plus moved in with our parents, my parents are on the older side plus they need some care, then they need someone making sure they take all their vitamins plus can drive them to their doctors appointments.

My nana is coming to visit me for a week, and I am so happy because she never comes to FL; In fact, the last time she was here was when I moved to Cocoa 15 years ago.

In her defense, she doesn’t travel a whole lot, so I understand why she hasn’t been here, anyway, the weather is not too warm right now, so it’s absolutely comfortable outside, although I will need to plan activities that are both indoors and outdoors! My nana lives in the coldest area of the country, so she isn’t used to the heat in FL! Luckily, Cocoa has a lot of things I like to do doing, however some are outdoors, while others are indoor attractions with air conditioner, but one thing that I have planned that I guess she will like is a dinner cruise on the Indian River Queen. It’s a triple deck paddle boat that offers dinner, scenic cruises, music, drinks, and so much more. I guess it will be great for her because it has 3 decks, 1 of which has air conditioner as well as comfortable seating. A space like this that has both air conditioned and non-air conditioned areas is great for someone like my nana, who prefers not to be outside in the FL heat for too long. She can go outside and appreciate the scenic views at her leisure and then find reprieve inside in the air conditioner, then not to mention, there is music and dancing that she will love. Aside from the dinner cruise, I plan to take her to a museum that also has air conditioner, and perhaps I will take her for a afternoon walk on the beach if she agrees to it.
