My lady and I had an annual challenge to go hiking together no matter how tied up both of us were! The people I was with and I typically planned so that both of us could cancel our schedules and ensure that the set afternoons were free to do just that.
The people I was with and I were both contractor executives in tied up industries, and it was not easy to find time to bond and relax.
The best both of us could do respectfully were quick suppers every weekend and occasionally a afternoon or more than one in each other’s houses while in the weekdays whenever our schedules did not involve a lot of traveling, but however, both of us easily enjoyed each other and did not mind putting in the hard work. The people I was with and I were typically eager for the few hours both of us got, as both of us maximized them and made sure they were quality moments. Therefore, the hiking weekends were the highlights of our times together. This time around, our challenge was mt Spokane, and both of us went at a time when Winter was just around the corner. The cold weather was showing signs all over, however both of us still had to do it, but fortunately, both of us brought a few friends to keep us motivated whenever both of us felt prefer giving up. The people I was with and I were to be around for 5 afternoons, which meant that laboring with weekly targets was ideal. The people I was with and I would set camp and use a portable furnace to keep us warm. The people I was with and I enjoyed the fresh air, and the marked terrains made it easy to scale the hard areas, it was worth it and a unbelievable introduction to more significant challenges both of us proposal to take on in the future.
