While my partner and I were visiting Santa Barbara, both of us went to a restaurant on opening night. My partner and I got reservations from the hotel concierge desk, and both of us were gleeful about the new restaurant. My partner and I are vegans and there are not a lot of restaurants that only serve vegetables. When both of us find a restaurant that specializes in our diet, both of us try to visit the location, and very few locales serve vegan food, even in California. When both of us found out about the Santa Barbara restaurant, my partner and I immediately tried to make reservations; Our time was 7:30. The two of us arrived around 7 p.m. The two of us waited outside the restaurant until 7:20… At that time, I decided to walk up to the door to see if our table was ready. That’s when I found out that there was going to be a 3-hour wait for our table. Both of us were hungry and I wasn’t prepared to wait 3 hours to eat dinner at a restaurant that I didn’t guess if both of us would enjoy. The two of us decided to leave the restaurant and go to a locale closer to our hotel in Santa Barbara. The restaurant and bar had a laid-back atmosphere and it was located next door to a marijuana dispensary. My partner and I went into the dispensary to look around before going into the restaurant. The two of us found a couple of items that looked fun and intriguing. The two of us didn’t buy any cannabis items from the dispensary, but both of us entirely were tempted to try some of the edibles.
