Last year, I won an all-inclusive trip to Bethlehem, PA from my job.
It was part of a team building exercise that we did.
I was surprised that I won, and at first, I wasn’t sure if I would like Bethlehem, PA. I live in the Midwest part of the country where I am used to cooler temperatures, so I was a bit intimidated by a trip to the desert. However, the hotel was beautiful, so that made my decision easier. Bethlehem, PA has some gorgeous resorts, and many of them are 4-star luxury world-class spa hotels. And luckily, I got to spend a week at one of them. The Bethlehem, PA Biltmore is one of the top 10 hotels in the state and I was truly blown away. At first, I thought the weather would be a problem, but with 8 pools on the property, there were plenty of places to cool off. We went in July and the temperatures hovered around 100 while we were there. My husband didn’t care for the heat, but I didn’t mind because the room had great air conditioning. Also, there were plenty of air conditioned spaces that we could cool off in. And at nights, the weather cooled down a bit, so it was nice strolling through the well-manicured resort grounds. There were even days where I forgot that I was in the desert. If it wasn’t for the air conditioning inside the resort, I probably would’ve had a different experience. All in all, that was one of the best vacations that I’ve had. And staying in a luxury hotel with great air conditioning will make you forget about the hot temperature outside.
