I have a place that is about 30 miles outside of Phoenix neighborhood limits; The piece of property was actually inexpensive, because it is in the middle of nowhere; I rely on solar for all of my electricity needs.
I also have a windmill on my property.
I have an AC device in my dwelling that runs on solar. I’ve been fixing all of the little problems that come up from time to time, but yesterday the AC device stopped laboring all together and I was unable to figure out a solution to the problem. I called a couple of places in Phoenix that offer AC repairs and maintenance. Most of the places were unwilling to drive out to my property because it is 30 miles outside of Phoenix. I was going through a list of companies calling each listed number. I called the 10th number on the list and the Phoenix AC maintenance supplier agreed to drive out to my home. The Phoenix AC maintenance supplier charged me a fee for the driving distance, but if I paid for the repair, the fee was waived. I ended up using the Phoenix AC maintenance supplier to upgrade my system with a much nicer solar a/c that is quite an upgrade. The AC maintenance supplier came back the next day to install the equipment, but not only did the supplier not charge me for either one of the trips that they made to my home, but they also gave me a 20% discount for allowing them to videotape the process for their youtube channel.
