Choosing a genre of apartment in The Villages

When my husband and I decided to retire and purchase a apartment within The Villages in FL, my associate and I considered many different styles; My associate and I wanted something a little greater, with plenty of living space but minimal outdoor upkeep.

After touring a variety of homes for sale, my associate and I chose a Courtyard Valla, then our current apartment is right around 1,500 square feet but seems even greater due to the courtyard.

My associate and I payed $250,000 for the property, the residence is laid out with an open feel and a private, enclosed courtyard. The courtyard is cement, which offers an outdoor relaxing and entertainment space without worrying about trimming the sod. My associate and I have a fenced-in backyard where the dog can go out without a leash and a fence for security and privacy alongside the sides of the condo as well. There are more than thirteen different styles of courtyard villas available, then each one is accented in a particular way. My associate and I chose a “Bungalow Villa” that features three study rooms and two bathrooms. The exterior is concrete block with a stucco finish that gives it a really “FL-like” curb appeal, but we’ve added some gardens with decorative rock for a bit of color and personalized flair. My associate and I prefer the functionality of a two-car garage and a hockey car garage. A screened enclosure is a nice spot to drink our morning or evening tea without worrying about the bugs. My associate and I love The Villages because there is an endless array of chances to meet people, join into clubs and embrace current adventures, and spending less time on the upkeep of the apartment gives us more time to do things my associate and I really enjoy.
