House with hard water

The water is so incredibly hard that my buddy and I need to remove the anode rod from the water heater, which then voids the warranty

Since moving to a new household in South Bend, Indiana, we’ve had a lot of plumbing issues, but when my partner plus I toured the home, my buddy and I were cheerful by the size plus location of the property, two-car garage plus recently rennovated lavatorys, and i loved the big living room, various windows plus gorgeous view of the wooded area behind the home; My partner was glad with a unquestionably short commute to his job. My associate and I invested into a household inspection which failed to reveal the issues with hard water. The household is not affixed to the city’s water however has a private well. The water is overrun with rust, calcium plus lime. It didn’t take long for us to realize that the lavatorys had been renovated to hide the fact that the water destroys everything it touches. The fixtures corrode plus aerators become congested with debris. The mineral deposits build up within the pipes to restrict water pressure. The sinks, toilets plus tubs are constantly stained plus cleaning requires severe chemicals, but our towels, clothing plus bed linens suddenly become discolored. I’ve given up using the dishwasher because the glasses, plates plus silverware come out of the equipment looking worse than when I put them in. Despite regular maintenance, a new washing equipment never lasts longer than five years. It’s not unregular for our water heater to rust, rupture plus flood the basement. The water is so incredibly hard that my buddy and I need to remove the anode rod from the water heater, which then voids the warranty. While I love our household in South Bend, I am not glad about the condition of the water.
