6 months out of the year my pal and I use a furnace
When my partner and I moved into our current household in Birmingham, Alabama, I wanted to get radiant flooring, and we were ripping up all the outdated rugs and replacing them with tile, however tile is better with heated flooring. You have to rip the floors up to get the system. We were doing it all anyway and the time was right! My partner talked me out of it, then his point was that Alabama is a hot state. We hardly use our household furnace, and it still worked too. It made no sense to buy another boiler and hardly use it. Well a whole year went by and after that I truly regretted that choice. I should have done heated flooring… Our household boiler quit since it was so old! So I had to buy a current system anway. The cement feels cold on my feet for four months out of the year. The evenings get into the 30s, of course the cement feels cold. I had to buy a bunch of throw rugs to keep the cement warm. I covered up all my hard work. Since the floors feel so cold I need to keep my control component at a higher temperature, and my energy bills in the winter are quite large. The winters in Birmingham, Alabama are cold. The season is long too. 6 months out of the year my pal and I use a furnace. We aren’t in a hot state at all! I should have invented my heating component when I had the chance. I truly missed not getting radiant heating.
